Art of Being a Military Child Contest:
All military children from kindergarten through high school are invited to participate in a contest for the Military Child Education Coalition's 11th Annual Conference. Submissions will be accepted in artwork, film and writing, with suggested topics of parents, the cultures you experience, family, helping your community, military lifestyle, your hopes & dreams, life lessons you've learned, transitions/changes, and all the people you've met. Kids Serve 2 has a campaign "A Thousand Thanks to Military Kids" in which children can receive a thank you letter signed by one of their favorite Looney Tunes or Scooby Doo character, NBA star Shaquille O'Neal or NASCAR drivers Jon Wood  and Kelly Bires.
